Overclocking World Championship Final 2017: Schedule, Participants and Cash Prizes Announced

Today we can announce several important details in relation to the Overclocking World Championship Final 2017. The contest will take place at the Caseking HQ in Berlin on December 9th and 10th and is the climax of a year-long campaign to discover this year’s Overclocking World Champion. Today we can reveal some details about the general schedule the contest will follow, the overclockers that will compete and the cash prizes that we have lined up for the winners. It’s certainly shaping up to a really exciting end to the most comprehensive global overclocking contest ever conceived.

Overclocking World Championship Final 2017: December 9th and 10th, 2017 - The HWBOT World Tour 2017 visited ten countries around the world this year. At each stop an Overclocking World Championship Qualifier contest was held, an extreme overclocking contest where the region’s most talented overclockers went head to head to compete for a seat in the Final. Let’s first take at the what these finalists have in store in Berlin in terms of schedule:

  • -December 9th – Day 1: Qualification Day (to determine rankings for Day 2)
  • -December 10th – Day 2: 1v1 Matches + Award Ceremony

OCWC Final Cash Prizes - This year we are very happy to announce that there will be cash prizes for the top five placed overclockers at the end of the contest.

  • -1st Place: $1,500 USD
  • -2nd Place: $1,000 USD
  • -3rd Place: $750 USD
  • -4th Place: $500 USD
  • -5th Place: $250 USD
