Most Valuable Submission of Week 44, 2017: Gold for Dancop (DE), Steponz (US), Nachtfalke (RO) and PKBO (CZ)

In Week 44 of 2017, we received 4206 benchmark results from 952 registered overclockers around the world. The majority of the submissions is coming from Rookie overclockers representing 60% of the active community. They were responsible for 40% of the submissions. We had a peek at the most valuable submissions in a breakdown per league.

During Week 44 of 2017, four overclockers made the leaderboard with a golden cup. First up is Dancop from Germany with a World Record in the XTU benchmark. The new top score to beat is 6223 MHz and was achieved with a Core i9 7980XE clocked at 5603 MHz. The Number One of the Overclockers League now has a 27 point lead over 2nd place Rsannino from Italy. Next Golden Cup winner of the week is Steponz from the United States, who also featured in last week's table. This time the bearded overclocker achieved a Global First Place in the 3DMark Vantage Performance 1xGPU category with a score of 120717. He achieved this feat with a GeForce GTX 1080 TI graphics card clocked at 2683/1645 MHz and an Intel Core i9-7960X clocked at 5783 MHz. Next up is Nachtfalke from Romania with a Hardware First Place in the 3DMark Vantage performance 1x Radeon HD 7970 category. Aided by the newfound multi-core power of the X299 platform using the 12-core Core i9 7920X, the Romanian overclocker pushed the top score to 64432 marks. That's almost 5000 points more than second place mllrkllr88! Last but not least there's PKBO from the Czech Republic scoring a golden cup in the XTU Core i5 7500 category with a score of 1205 marks and a 103.0 MHz BCLK overclock. Congrats everyone!

The most used hardware components of Week 44 are the Core i7 7700K (10.7%), GeForce GTX 1080 Ti (12.1%) and the ASUS ROG Rampage VI Apex (3.3%). In total the community used 351 different CPUs, 246 different GPUs and 791 different motherboards.

The overclocking results submitted during Week 44 generated in total 80 World Record Points, 8122.8 Global Points, and 6597.2 Hardware Points. The distribution per League is as follows: 10% for Elite, 23% for Extreme, 13% for Apprentice, 23% for Enthusiast, 10% for Novice, and 34% for Rookie. The representation of the active community is as follows: 2% Elite, 7% Extreme, 4% Apprentice, 16% Enthusiast, 11% Novice, and 60% Rookie.
