HWBOT Country Cup 2017 Kicks Off Today!

It’s that time of the year again folks. The time when we team up with our fellow countrymen to try and show the world just how good our homeland is at overclocking. Yes, the HWBOT Country Cup is back and actually starts in just a few hours. As ever we have devised six ingenious contest stages each of which will require multiple submissions from teams representing their country. As always, that means that teamwork is going to be a very important factor in deciding which country eventually wins. In previous years we’ve had Country Cup wins from Romania (x2), Poland, Australia (x3) and Greece (x2) who in fact took the win last year. It will be very interesting to see which country rises to the occasion in 2017. Let’s take a look at what the HWBOT Country Cup 2017 has in store for us:

HWBOT Country Cup 2017: November 1st to December 23

Each of the six stages of the HWBOT Country Cup 2017 contest has been setup to make the contest as gruelling and challenging as possible. Each stage is unique and involves the following:

  • a) a specific benchmark
  • b) a specific number of required submissions from different team members, each using a different CPU or GPU model
  • c) a specific hardware family, model or type
  • d) a specific amount of points
  • e) a different end date
