In Week 43 of 2017, we received 4466 benchmark results from 946 registered overclockers around the world. The majority of the submissions is coming from Rookie overclockers representing 60% of the active community. They were responsible for 40% of the submissions. We had a peek at the most valuable submissions in a breakdown per league.

During Week 43 of 2017, two overclockers made the leaderboard with a golden cup. First up is the "Beard of Overclocking" Steponz from the United States with a World Record in 3DMark Vantage Performance. His system is powered by an Intel Core i9 7960X processor clocked at 5698 MHz and a pair of GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics cards clocked at 2500/1639 MHz. The lead over second place Rsannino is almost 1,400 points. Next up is another American overclocker: Gunslinger. He also chose the 3DMark Vantage Performance benchmark, but focused on the 2x GeForce GTX 580 graphics card. The golden cup is achieved with a score of 76302 marks and features a Core i7 7740X at 5805 MHz paired with two GeForce GTX 580 clocked at 1150/2500 MHz.

The most used hardware components of Week 43 are the Core i7 7700K (12.4%), GeForce GTX 1080 Ti (12.3%) and the ASUS ROG Rampage VI Apex (6.8%). In total the community used 308 different CPUs, 222 different GPUs and 733 different motherboards.

The overclocking results submitted during Week 43 generated in total 340 World Record Points, 9701.1 Global Points, and 6840 Hardware Points. The distribution per League is as follows: 17% for Elite, 21% for Extreme, 17% for Apprentice, 19% for Enthusiast, 11% for Novice, and 32% for Rookie. The representation of the active community is as follows: 2% Elite, 6% Extreme, 4% Apprentice, 17% Enthusiast, 11% Novice, and 60% Rookie.
