Today we can bring you a major update regarding the latter stages of this year’s HWBOT World Tour. The plan for this year originally involved a visit to China for the CG Play event, a PAX powered event originally scheduled to happen in Guangzhou in November. This event was cancelled however due to upcoming major national event in China and rescheduled for next year. Having a gap in our 2017 schedule gave us the opportunity to host a second event in our home town of Taipei, Taiwan. Today we can officially announce the Taipei II event and the availability of tickets.

HWBOT World Tour – Taipei II 2017: October 21st to 22nd - The Taipei II 2017 leg of the HWBOT World Tour will be hosted at the Syntrend Creative Center in downtown Taipei, just a stone’s throw from the famous Taipei Computer Market. As always, it will involve both Overclocking Workshops and competitive Overclocking contests, both extreme and ambient. There will also be space for an Overclockers Gathering where Overclockers can enjoy unlimited access to LN2 in the company of other like-minded people. In terms of extreme overclocking, the highlight will be the OCWC Taipei II Qualifier contest.

Attending overclockers will compete using a similar contest format to those used in previous OCWC 2017 contests. A Qualification Phase on Day 1 will see all competing overclockers compete across three benchmarks within a limited 3 hour time frame. The highest four scorers will be invited back to compete in 1v1 Semi-Final and Final matches on Day 2.
