In Week 34 of 2017, we received 3111 benchmark results from 845 registered overclockers around the world. The majority of the submissions is coming from Rookie overclockers representing 59% of the active community. They were responsible for 37% of the submissions. We had a peek at the most valuable submissions in a breakdown per league.

At the end of August in Week 34 we find two golden cups on the leaderboard. First up is Sofos1990 from Greece with a Global First Place in the XTU 8xCPU category. The Core i7 7820X is part of the Skylake-X LGA2066 product line and can clock up similarly. For this run Sofos1990 increase the frequency of the CPU to 5860 MHz and scored 3734 marks. Second Gold of the week goes to K|ngp|n from the United States with a World Record run in 3DMark Fire Strike. For this feat K|ngp|n uses 4 GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics cards at 2250/1564 MHz and a 5.5 GHz Core i9 7960X 16-core Skylake-X CPU all cooled with liquid nitrogen. Congratulations to everyone making the leaderboard!

The most used hardware components of Week 34 are the Core i7 7700K (12.6%), GeForce GTX 1070 (9.4%) and the ASUS ROG Maximus IX Apex (3.6%). In total the community used 355 different CPUs, 237 different GPUs and 753 different motherboards.

The overclocking results submitted during Week 34 generated in total 320 World Record Points, 3722.5 Global Points, and 5034.3 Hardware Points. The distribution per League is as follows: 18% for Elite, 25% for Extreme, 10% for Apprentice, 21% for Enthusiast, 11% for Novice, and 26% for Rookie. The representation of the active community is as follows: 1% Elite, 8% Extreme, 4% Apprentice, 17% Enthusiast, 11% Novice, and 59% Rookie.
