BlueFiber (Indonesia) and Lucky_n00b (Indonesia) Win GIGABYTE Master Your Ryzen Contest

The GIGABYTE Master your Ryzen contest came to a climax just a few days ago. In the Ambient category we find Indonesian Enthusiast BlueFiber taking the win, while in the Extreme category we find probably the most well known Indonesian overclocker, Lucky_n00b topping the table. Congrats to you both, your $700 USD cash prizes will soon be heading your way. In the meantime, let’s take a look at all the important scores and submissions that were made in a little detail:

GIGABYTE Master Your Ryzen: June 1st to July 2nd, 2017

The GIGABYTE Master Your Ryzen contest is an OC-ESPORTS contest centered on the latest Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 5 series processors from AMD. The contest is divided in two, with Extreme and Elite HWBOT members invited to participate in the Extreme category contest using Ryzen 7 CPUs as much LN2, dry ice and cascade cooling as they like. Rookie, Novice and Enthusiast League members are invited to take part in the Ambient category contest using Ryzen 5 CPUs and non-subzero cooling only. The great news is that GIGABYTE are offering cash prizes of $1,200 USD for each category, plus another $600 USD as Lucky Prize Draw prizes. That’s an impressive $3,000 bucks in total!

Ryzen 5: Ambient Category - Stage 1: CPU Frequency

Let’s start with a look at the Ambient Category and Stage 1 which is all about the age old challenge to push CPU clocks to the maximum. In first place we find BlueFiber from Indonesia who opted for an AMD Ryzen 5 1600X which he managed to push to a very impressive 4,414MHz, +22.63% beyond stock settings. The rig used involved a GIGABYTE AORUS AX370-Gaming K7 motherboard.
