The second round of the Road to Pro series on OC-ESPORTS just came to an end over the weekend. At the top of the Pro OC Division table we find Greek overclocker $@39@ with a totally dominant performance that saw him take wins in four of the five stages. Last round’s winner Gunslinger (US) has to make do with runner up spot while jiccman1965 (US) makes third place. Let’s take a look at all the no-holds-barred action from the second round of the Pro OC Division.

Pro OC Division: Round 2 - May 1st - June 30th 2017

The Pro OC Division of the Road to pro Series on OC-ESPORTS is in many regards the pinnacle of the competitive overclocking season. Design with the game’s Elite and Extreme league overclockers in mind, the Pro OC Division enforces almost no restrictions on what hardware can be used and what cooling method can be employed (the only limitation is that only one GPU may be used in 3D stages). Overclockers are free to use the fastest and most expensive hardware they can lay their hands on and push it to the limit on LN2. Here are the benchmarks involved in Round 2:

In Stage 1 of the contest we encounter the one stage where Greek maestro $@39@ (pronounced Saega) sits in second place, not first. The top man when it comes to benching the Intel XTU benchmark is Gunslinger with a score of 3,394 marks. This score was made using a Core i7 6950X clocked at 5,206.03MHz, a very impressive +73.53% beyond stock settings. Other rig details include an ASUS ROG Rampage V Edition 10 motherboard with DDR4 configured at 1,701MHz (13-13-13-20).
