Xtreme Addict (Poland) Takes World No.1 Spot in HWBOT Global Rankings

Having been somewhat dormant in the last few months, Polish OC legend Xtreme Addict has been very busy submitting scores in the last two days. In fact the eight submissions uploaded to the HWBOT database means that he now sits at the pinnacle of the Global Rankings on HWBOT. It’s great to see some genuine competitive action at the top of the table. In fact the last time we saw XA at the top of the Global Rankings was back in September of last year.

Although none of the scores submitted in the last few days are World Record scores or Global First Place ranked scores, they include 5 2nd place ranked scores in either dual-core (Core i3 7350K) or quad-core (Core i7 7740K) CPU rankings, plus three third place scores and one fourth placed. In total these score are worth more 675 points, a total that has now helped elevate XA to the position of World No.1.

World Rankings on HWBOT are a combination of Global and World Record points, Hardware Points and OC-ESPORTS points. In the first category, XA has six Silver cups, five Bronze cups plus a fourth place medal. Looking at his top twenty Hardware Point submissions he holds an incredible total of twenty Gold cups – i.e. he holds the record score for twenty specific hardware components in twenty specific benchmarks. He has also amassed a ton of points in the OC-ESPORTS category after his work in competitions such as the recent G.SKILL OC World 2017 contest where he came first in the live Qualifier, and 2nd overall. He also won the GALAX GOC 2016 Qualifier contest, eventually finishing as runner up in that contest too.

In all he now stands on a total 2,881.7 points in the HWBOT rankings, just ahead of Germany’s Dancop with 2,862.3 points. In third place we have Italian rsannino who just won the G.SKILL OC World Cup, while fourth place belongs the mercurial Extreme overclocker $@39@ from Greece. You can find the current HWBOT World Rankings here, and you can also check out the Xtreme Addict profile page here which contains all of his recent submissions plus a breakdown of his points haul. Congrats Michal!
