Just in case you missed it, HWBOT played a pivotal role in the launch of Intel’s new X299 platform. Elite overclockers Elmor, der8auer and Dancop were invited to push the latest Intel Core i7 7740X processors using liquid helium. To make things even more challenging, they did it all during a media party at the W Hotel with the world’s top tech media watching on. The event was under embargo until just a few hours ago which meant that we had to keep things under wraps. The great news today is that now that that the new Basin Falls platform is official, the embargo has been lifted. That means that you are now invited to watch all the action from the ‘Helium Night’ with expert commentary from the guys at OverClocking-TV.

Today Intel announced their new line-up of Kaby Lake X processors for the new X299 platform. On the evening before launch (yesterday), HWBOT hosted in association with Intel & Seasonic the “Performance Matters – Helium Night Taipei”. The event was limited to selected press to assist an extreme overclocking demonstration with liquid helium.
