In Week 18 of 2017, we received 4351 benchmark results from 961 registered overclockers around the world. The majority of the submissions is coming from Rookie overclockers representing 59% of the active community. They were responsible for 37% of the submissions. We had a peek at the most valuable submissions in a breakdown per league.
During Week 18 of this year we have no less than 7 (!) overclockers with a Golden Cup in the Most Valuable Submission leaderboard. First, the World Records. In what certainly is a rare case, Pijonson from Russia broke the World Record in the GPUPI 1B benchmark. For this he used a set of eight (8!) GeForce GTX 1080 TO graphics cards clocked at 1481/1376 MHz. The resulting score is 1.746 seconds, with which he beats Dhenzhjen's 10x Tesla M40 setup. Also breaking records this week is H2o vs. Ln2 from the United States. He grabs the top spot in Catzilla 1440P with 4 TITAN Xp graphics cards clocked at 2127/1650 MHz using of course custom liquid cooling. Now then, the Global First Places. First up is Splave from the United States with a golden cup in the XTU 2xCPU benchmark. His Core i3 7350K processor clocks up to 6.6GHz which results in a score of 1219 marks. Also grabbing a golden cup this week is $@39@ from Greece. With a monster Core i7 7700K he tops the HWBOT Prime 4xCPU leaderboard scoring 8514.54 pps at 6951 MHz. This is roughly 14 points above Splave and 36 more than Rauf. Moving on to the Hardware First Places of the week we find Scannick from Italy topping the ranks in the 3DMark01 Radeon HD 5850 category. He scores 176273 marks with the graphics card clocked at 1280/1280 MHz which he paired with a near-7GHz Core i7 7700K. Ale Belo joins his Italian colleague and tops the ranking in the 3DMark05 2x Radeon HD 3870 X2 category. The score of 64098 points is achieved with the graphics cards clocked at 904/1116 MHz. Last but not least we find Rookie Bigyan from Australia topping the ranks in the XTU Core i7 4650U category. Congratulations to everyone making the leaderboard!
