Intel Core i7 970 to arrive soon

A locked six-core CPU priced $799? I'm not sure how 'interesting' this offer really is as for a mere $100 extra you get the unlocked 980X.

It was rumored before and now is fairly clear, the Core i7 970 processor will be relased soon and weirdly enough this will be a six-core processor (not a core i7 975 locked). According to a spot from the fud, Intel's Core i7 970 six-core could ship as soon as the next couple of weeks. This six-core processor would be clocked at 3.2GHz and could carry a pricetag of €799. My advise .. drop another 100 and get the unlocked 980X version, you are gonna love the unlocked multiplier.
