In addition, the contest saw a record number of submissions with more than 1,300 benchmark results submitted during the contest.
The Rookie Rumble contest series is open to all Rookie and Novice class HWBOT members. Hosted on OC-ESPORTS, the first contest was held on January 2014 and attracted 30 overclockers. Since its inception, we’ve seen a gradual rise in participation numbers. The last few months however have seen a healthy climb in participation levels. In fact Rookie Rumble #42 is the third consecutive record breaking contest in terms of participation.
