In Week 9 of 2017, we received 5224 benchmark results from 1305 registered overclockers around the world. The majority of the submissions is coming from Rookie overclockers representing 63% of the active community. They were responsible for 47% of the submissions. We had a peek at the most valuable submissions in a breakdown per league.

During Week 9 of 2017 we received a significant amount more submissions than last week, possibly sparked by the release of the AMD Ryzen 7 processors. Countless of impressive results were posted on HWBOT. 8 Pack from the United Kingdom scored a Global First Place in Cinebench R11.5 4xCPU category with the Intel Core i7 7700K clocked at 6858 MHz. He is now 0.02 points faster than Xtreme Addict. Rauf from Sweden had a strong record-breaking week. Among the many top overclocking results, he also set a new World Record in the 3DMark01 benchmark and joins the rank of legends who can claim to have been a 3DMark01 record holder. Splave from the United States showed off his memory overclocking skillset again by pushing the top Memory Frequency to DDR4-5262 using a Core i3 Kaby Lake processor. Last but not least we also celebrate Acidsys from Australia for scoring a golden cup in the XTU Core i5 5200U category. Congratulations to everyone making the leaderboard!

The overclocking results submitted during Week 9 generated in total 25 World Record Points, 7722.4 Global Points, and 9615.8 Hardware Points. The distribution per League is as follows: 15% for Elite, 40% for Extreme, 13% for Apprentice, 18% for Enthusiast, 4% for Novice, and 24% for Rookie. The representation of the active community is as follows: 2% Elite, 7% Extreme, 3% Apprentice, 16% Enthusiast, 9% Novice, and 63% Rookie.
