A few days ago we came to the conclusion the latest round of the Rookie Rumble contest on OC-ESPORTS. The contest was won by newcomer topyoyoguybest from the US who certainly made an entrance by topping the table with a total score of 141 points. This was actually some way ahead of his nearest rival MNRig from the Czech Republic with 109 points and denis_kos from Greece on 83 points. Let’s take a look at the scoring and submissions in a little more detail.
Rookie Rumble #40: January 14th to February 4th 2017
The fortieth edition of the Rookie Rumble was in fact one of the most popular we have ever seen on OC-ESPORTS since the inception of the contest few years back. A total of 526 Overclockers took part in the contest, one of the highest figures we have ever seen. The contest is designed to give Rookie, Novice and Apprentice-class Overclockers a place where they can compete against each other on a level playing field. Enthusiast, Extreme and Elite Overclockers are not eligible to compete. The current contest format has three stages featuring the following benchmarks; Intel XTU, Geekbench 4 (single core) and HWBOT X265 (1080p).
