NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 Quad SLI Benchmarked

Seems like Nvidia will be embracing 4x1 Quad SLI after all ...

We found in our email maiboxes a little toasty this morning, thanks to no less than four toasty GeForce GTX 480 graphics accelerators at the end of a 3DMark Vantage session. Results you see below are those generated from a system based around the Intel Core i7-950 CPU. Totalling 1920 CUDA Cores with PhysX enabled, CPU Score is an impressive 52799. History has taught us that CPU clock scaling will bring about significant performance gains in 3D. We expect the same to happen with this generation of GeForce graphics on Quad SLI.
