OC-ESPORTS Round Up: December 2016

It’s time once again to take stock of the month of December that has just past while also taking in the end of the year that was 2016. In December we actually saw the conclusion of several very important contests on OC-ESPORTS. These include two massive contests, i.e. the HWBOT Country Cup 2016 and The Overclocking World Championship. We also had the GALAX GOC 2016 Final, plus the conclusion of the ASUS Realbench Challenge series the last Rookie Rumble contests of the year. As well as covering the contests, let’s first take a look at the individual and team rankings at the end of the year.

Official World Overclocking Rankings - December 2016

At the end of 2016 we find one Overclocker standing tall at the top of the table. That man is Germany’s Dancop who leads the table with points score of 1,180 points. It’s not in the least bit surprising as he has had a great year in terms of competing in competitions on OC-ESPORTS. In 2016 he managed to win all three rounds of the Pro OC Cup, he was first in the G.SKILL OC World Cup 2016 Qualifier, runner-up in the G.SKILL OC World Cup Live Final, runner-up in the World Series MSI MOA 2016 Europe Final, third place in the World Series 2016 Asia Final… to name but a small selection of the achievements he has clocked up this year. Congrats to Dancop, winner of the OC-ESPORTS 2016 season.
