In celebration of the World Championship Final, held a few weeks ago in mid-December, we hosted a ‘Predict and Win’ Giveaway contest on our Facebook page. All you had to do was makes sure your ‘likes’ were in order, give us some brief details and you were in the hat for a random draw to win a Core i7 6950X processor. Today we can announce that the lucky winner is A.Durrant. Congrats to you sir!

Alongside the prize draw we also had a poll of sorts, just for fun. The contest asked entrants to choose which overclocker they thought would become World Champion 2016. The results are actually quite interesting. PXHX (Brazil) came away with 6%, followed by DrWeez (S. Africa) with 9.3%, Hazzan (Indonesia) on 11%, Marc0053 (Canada) with 14.1%, Bullshooter (Germany) with 15% and Xtreme Addict (Poland) with 20.5%. At the top of the poll we find Wild Card contest winner Lucky_n00b (Indonesia) with 24.1% of the votes. Of course the eventual winner was Canada’s Marc0053 who managed to beat Xtreme Addict in the final 1v1 contest.
