The HWBOT World Championship 2016 Final is just days away, and in celebration of the inaugural event we are giving away an Intel Core i7 6950X processor. The HWBOT World Championship 2016 is essentially the climax of the HWBOT World Tour 2016. On each of the six stops around the world, the HWBOT World Tour incorporated a World Series contest where overclockers were invited to compete for a place in the Final. In Brazil the winner was PXHX, in France it was Bullshooter. The South African winner was DrWeez while in Indonesia Hazzan took the win. In North America marc0053 was the winner, while at Computex in Taiwan Xtreme Addict showed his class. Let's be honest, these are some of the scene's most talented players.

A seventh place was awarded to the winner of the World Championship Wild Card contest which was won in dramatic style by Lucky_n00b. An eighth place will be awarded to the winner of ROG Camp 2016 contest, which happens just days before the Final. These eight overclockers will firstly take part in a qualification round on the morning of Sunday December 4th. The top four will then compete in 1v1 Semi-Finals contests followed by a 1v1 Final. It should be very, very exciting.
