After little over a month of furious competitive overclocking we have now reached the conclusion of the GALAX GOC 2016 Qualification contest on OC-ESPORTS. Crucially, the contest decides which overclockers will take part in the GOC 2016 Finals in Wuhan, China next month with the top twelve finishers enjoying flights and accommodation for a trip that promises to be fun and competitive.
Firstly however, let's give our loudest applause to World No.2 Xtreme Addict who tops the qualification table with a total of 186 points. The talented Pole is followed by Swedish OC master Rauf with 182 points and World No.1 Dancop with 172 points. Let’s take a look at all the scores and submissions in a little more detail.
GALAX GOC 2016 Worldwide Qualifier - October 7th to November 10th 2016
The Worldwide Qualifier Contest was hosted in conjunction with GALAX on the OC-ESPORTS website and was open to all HWBOT members. Overclockers were restricted to using a single GALAX GTX 1060 graphics card only. Memory was also restricted to GALAX memory kits only, with processors limited to Intel 1151 socket chips with core and cache speeds capped at 6,003.00MHz or less.
