[Video] HWBOT World Tour 2016 – Asia Pacific: The Aftermovie

If anyone missed the HWBOT World Tour stop in Indonesia a few weeks ago, today is your lucky day as OverClocking-TV have just published a cool aftermovie that gives a great account of what happened. Trouffman and Xyala give a great overview of all the competitive action including Amateur and Extreme contests.

The Asia Pacific leg of the HWBOT World Tour 2016 was the penultimate stop of the tour and took place in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. As with all World Tour stops, the five day event featured both extreme overclocking contests for seasoned pros who can get through a lot of LN2, to complete amateurs trying their hand for the very first time. In fact Indonesia has quite a rich overclocking history that includes promoting the sport to amateur PC DIY enthusiasts, a fact that explored in more depth in this article from Massman.

The eventual winner of the World Series extreme overclocking contest was Indonesia’s current No.1 overclocker, Hazzan. The main prize for Hazzan was a ticket to the World Championship Finals in Berlin next month, a fitting prize for a man that so narrowly missed out in the Final of the Asia leg of the World Tour at Computex back in June.

You can relive the entire event via the aftermovie here on the OverClocking-TV YouTube channel.
