Most Valuable Submission of Week 45, 2016: Gold for TeamAU (AU)

In Week 45 of 2016, we received 3773 benchmark results from 919 registered overclockers around the world. The majority of the submissions is coming from Rookie overclockers representing 58% of the active community. They were responsible for 32% of the submissions. We had a peek at the most valuable submissions in a breakdown per league.

In a week where we primarily focused on the happening and events at PAX Australia 2016, the 3DMark01 World Record by TeamAU stands out as the only golden cup this week. TeamAU improved the previous record from Smoke by about 2000 points, scoring 206204 marks. For this the team used a 6700 MHz Core i7 6700K and paired it with a GIGABYTE Z170X-SOC Force LN2 motherboard. Aided with a single GeForce GTX 980 Ti and a set of G.SKILL Trident Z memory the record is back down under.

The overclocking results submitted during Week 45 generated in total 250 World Record Points, 2736.5 Global Points, and 5598.7 Hardware Points. The distribution per League is as follows: 18% for Elite, 30% for Extreme, 20% for Apprentice, 14% for Enthusiast, 6% for Novice, and 32% for Rookie. The representation of the active community is as follows: 3% Elite, 8% Extreme, 3% Apprentice, 16% Enthusiast, 11% Novice, and 59% Rookie.
