** Contest Update** GALAX GOC Qualifier 2016 Extended Until November 10th

Here’s a quick update regarding the GALAX GOC Qualifier contest that is currently running over on OC-ESPORTS. The contest closing date has now been extended to end on November 10th, four days later than the original November 6th closing date. The date change is in response to some overclockers not being sent the correct GTX 1060 card. Those overclockers have now been provided with the correct card and in the interest of fairness, will now have enough time to compete.

The online qualification contest is the prelude to the GALAX GOC 2016 Grand Final which will take place in Wuhan, China in mid-December. The qualification phase is open to all overclockers and spans four stageswhich include 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme, 3DMark Time Spy, 3DMark11 Physics and SuperPi 32M. The twelve contestants with the highest overall points will each win a ticket to the GALAX GOC 2016 Grand Final live event.

So far on the leaderboard, World No.1 Dancop has top spot on the table with fellow German Bullshooter in second place and Japanese OC master SHIMIZU in third. The decision to extend the contest was taken in the spirit of fair play, to let all who has purchased GALAX GTX 1060 compete on a level playing field. Also, credit to GALAX for quickly rectifying shipping errors as quickly as possible.
