In Week 40 of 2016, we received 4257 benchmark results from 977 registered overclockers around the world. The majority of the submissions is coming from Rookie overclockers representing 56% of the active community. They were responsible for 41% of the submissions. We had a peek at the most valuable submissions in a breakdown per league.

To accommodate more results we simplified the overview table to contain three types of information. The Most Valuable Submission, based on WR + Global + Hardware points, is separated in a CPU and GPU benchmark section. The top hardware points remain the same, but are not included in one table. The XTU 2xCPU category is back for a while, it seems. As Zeropluszero showed 743 is possible, several have joined him in the pursuit of the top points. This week Keika, Elkim and Johnd0e joined the 743 club. In other news, Xtreme Addict scored a World Record in the 3DMark03 benchkmark with 2x GeForce GTX 1080 at 1607/2500 MHz and a 6770 MHz (!) Core i7 6700K. On the hardware side of the spectrum we find [MSI OGS] topping the Elite class with a golden cup in the Radeon HD 4890 3DMark03 ranking. In the Extreme class we find Niuulh topping leaderboard in MaxxMem Read Bandwidth.

The overclocking results submitted during Week 40 generated in total 235 World Record Points, 5586.7 Global Points, and 7525.8 Hardware Points. The distribution per League is as follows: 25% for Elite, 29% for Extreme, 9% for Apprentice, 15% for Enthusiast, 7% for Novice, and 24% for Rookie. The representation of the active community is as follows: 2% Elite, 9% Extreme, 4% Apprentice, 18% Enthusiast, 11% Novice, and 56% Rookie.
