Wizerty (France) Wins Realbench Challenge, Prize Draw Winners Announced

The first installment of the RealBench Challenge just concluded on OC-ESPORTS with French OC master Wizerty winning Challenge I with a score of 171,823 points. The score was achieved using a Skylake Core i7 6700K clocked at 4,980MHz (+24.51%) using a Maximus Extreme motherboard and is in fact the second highest RealBench submission ever using this chip. Wizerty fended off some close competition with US overclocker Menthol arriving in second place with a score of 171,223 and fellow American meankeys in third place on 171,007 points.

The RealBench Challenge I was centered on the ASUS-developed RealBench application. Contest rules state that any non-socket 2011 platform can be used with anu ASUS motherboard, with the core count limited to four cores. The contest is open to HWBOT members from all leagues, and to make the contest more attractive to newer members cooling is limited to ambient only, with CPU temperatures being above 30°C. To add additional drama to the final rankings an additional +1 point was awarded to the top ten places on September 6th.

The win means that Wizerty can look forward to receiving an ROG Gladius mouse with ROG whestone mousepad combo and puts him in a great position to win the series where a next-generation motherboard is at stake.
