Dancop Uses Titan X (Pascal) to Regain World No.1 Spot. Takes 2 World Records and 10 Global 1st Places

We knew that the summer rumble for 1st place at the top of the HWBOT world rankings would continue heat up. Indeed the arrival Nvidia’s Titan X Pascal card has proven to be a real catalyst in the last few days. Dancop is clearly enjoying the sheer performance of the new card, using a pair of them to submit two World Record breaking scores, plus ten Global 1st Place ranking scores – all in matter of three days. This amazing spree sees Dancop regain his seat as World No.1

Let’s start with the two World Records; the first to fall at the back end of last week was 3DMark03 where Dancop scored an all new high score of 326,753 marks using a pair of Titan X Pascal cards pushed to 2,025MHz (+42.91%) and the memory configured at 1,464MHz. The CPU used was a Skylake Core i7 6700K clocked at 6,709.78MHz (+67.74%) plus a G.SKILL Trident Z memory kit configured at 1,869MHz (CL12-12-12-28 1T ) using an ASUS Maximus VII Extreme motherboard.

The second broken World Record concerns Catzilla 720p where a score of 104,886 points was made using a Core i7 6950X clocked at 5,349MHz (+78.3%) alongside the new pair of Titans, this time pushed a touch higher 2,101MHz (+48.27%) with memory at 1,346MHz. Here we see a Tridant Z kit set at 1,698MHz (CL11-11-11-28 1T) using an ASUS Rampage V Edition 10 motherboard.

  • All of this action has propelled Dancop past Xtreme Addict to the summit of World Overclocking once again. The German now sits on 3560.9 points, ahead of XA on 3219 points. I wonder if XA is thinking of getting a Titan X Pascal card anytime soon. You can check the full world rankings here.
