Marc0053 Unboxes Nvidia Titan X Pascal

We don’t usually cover the launch of new hardware with an unboxing video, but we will make a small exception since our buddy out marc0053 managed to get his hands on an Nvidia Titan X Pascal card. The card is already making waves on the HWBOT score database thanks to its superior Pascal-based GP102 graphics processor which basically wipes the floor with the previous Maxwell generation.

Marc managed to order his Titan X direct from the Nvidia website the moment it became available, but in truth it actually ended up costing even more than expected. The $1,200 USD price tag almost seems reasonable compared to the $1,800 Canadian dollars that Marc ended up paying after shipping, taxes and whatnot. Ouch.

In good old fashioned unboxing tradition, Marc takes his time to examine the packaging that accompanies the Titan card. The box itself is a little underwhelming, especially for a card that retails for such a premium. But hey who cares about the box, it’s the card that counts, and I’m guessing Marc is a reasonably happy guy judging by the scores he has submitted in the last 24 hours or so. In fact at time of writing he is sitting on three 1x GPU Global 1st places; 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme, 3DMark Fire Strike Ultra and 3DMark Time Spy.
