Pro OC and Challenger Divisions: Round 3 Kicks Off on OC-ESPORTS

The third and final round of the Road to Pro season kicks of on OC-ESPORTS today, bringing the curtain down on arguably the most expansive overclocking contest of the year. The Challenger Divisions consists of seven separate hardware divisions where all overclockers can find the ideal place to compete regardless of ability, experience or budget. The idea is to to promote inclusiveness within the overclocking community and grow overclocking as an Esport. Then of course we also have the Pro OC Championship, a place where the world’s Elite and Pro overclockers go head to head for cash prizes and tons of kudos.

Running from August 1st to September 30th 2016, each round of the Road to Pro season involves uniquely devised stages with benchmarks choices tied to specific hardware limitations. In Round 3 we find the opportunity to use new hardware thanks to the arrival of Intel’s Broadwell-E processors and Nvidia Pascal series graphics cards. We also find the inclusion for the first time of the new 3DMark Time Spy benchmark from Futuremark.
