Dancop Takes Cinebench R15 10x CPU Global 1st Place

Broadwell-E has only been with us for a matter of weeks, but already the search for an outstanding i7 6950X is underway. Not surprisingly, World No.1 Dancop has found a decent chip, one he was able to push to a solid 5,308.36MHz to take down the ten core global first place with a score of 2,907 cb points, which is exactly 26 points ahead of the previous best from der8auer who now sits in second place with 2,881 cb points.

The deca-core i7 6950X that Dancop used to claim the Global 1st Place ranking was pushed on LN2 to 5,308.36MHz, a magnificent +76.95% beyond the chip’s stock settings. Other key configurations include system memory with a G.SKILL Trident Z DDR4 kit clocked at 1,726MHz (CL11.0 11-11-28 1T), settings that would indicate the presence of a decent IMC. The rig also used a new ASUS Rampage V Edition 10 motherboard and a 1200 watt Seasonic PSU.

Congrats to Dancop. The 1st Place ranking might well help Dancop retain his seat at the summit of global overclocking, earning him 34.4 points for the 10x CPU Global 1st Place ranking, plus an additional 5 points for the Core i7 6590X ranking.
