Orion24 Takes GPUPI for CPU - 1B 2 x CPU Global 1st Place

Orion24 has just taken the GPUPI for CPU 1B 2x CPU Global 1st Place with a run of 8min 9sec 70ms. The score was made with the talented Frenchman using a Skylake Core i3 6100 pushed to a very tidy 6,388MHz, which is +72.65% beyond stock – nice going for an overclocker who was competing as a Rookie just one year ago.

Orion24 is arguably one of overclocking’s greatest success stories. I recall writing a news piece for OC-ESPORTS almost exactly one year ago summarizing the Rookie Rumble #18 contest where Orion24 came in third place. In fact HWBOT first got to know Orion24, also known to many as Carvalho Alexis, at last year’s World Series for Amateurs contest at the European leg of the HWBOT World Tour were he managed to pull off a solid win. You can check out this interview we did with him after the World Tour event in France.

Having shed the skin of a Rookie overclocker, Orion24 has now blossomed into a fully fledged Extreme overclocker, currently sitting in second place in French rankings and second only to French legend Wizerty in the Klan-OC team rankings. On a global scale orion24 is actually No.7 in the overall Extreme overclocking league. To say this guy has quickly climbed the rungs of competitive overclocking is a massive understatement.

The GPUPI for CPU 1B x2 CPU Global 1st Place earns orion24 a few extra point s that should help cement his position in the Extreme league; he receives 88.3 points of the x2 ranking and 4 hardware for i3 6100 processor ranking. You can check out the submission from orion24 here on HWBOT, as well as the GPUPI for CPU 1B 2 x CPU worldwide rankings. .Congrats to orion24.
