ZADAK511 DDR4 Frequency Challenge Winners: Racoon, RULE and Lucky_n00b

Last week we saw a number of great contests going on at HWBOT and O-ESPORTS; the World Series Asia contest saw twenty six Elite and Extreme overclockers compete for cash prizes, the World Series for Amateurs had the four best OC Workshop attendees competing head to head on XTU while the Pro OC contest took another step forward with a weekend of benching on Stage 3 of Round 2. With so much competitive overclocking going on, you would be forgiven for missing the ZADAK511 DDR4 Frequency Challenge hosted on OC-ESPORTS.

The ZADAK511 DDR4 Frequency Challenge ran throughout the HWBOT World Tour Asia event last week, offering some solid prizes to the overclocker that could submit the highest memory frequency using ZADAK511’s high-performance SHIELD DDR4 modules. The rules in fact were very simple – us ZADACK511 memory and any platform or motherboard.

The winner by some distance is Raccon with a frequency of 2515.89MHz, a submission that was in fact a record fastest ever DDR4 frequency, at least for a couple of hours. In second with a frequency of 2,470.39MHz we have Italian RULE, while in third place we have Lucky_n00b with 2,439.2MHz.

The prizes on offer are pretty decent. Each of the top three mentioned above will receive the following; a SHIELD RGB 240GB SSD (MSRP $189), a SHIELD DDR4 4266MHz x 4 OC edition memory kit (USD$1100), plus pre-retail access of the latest ZADAK511 SSDs and memory kits for one year.

You can check out the full scores and standing by visiting the ZADAK511 DDR4 Frequency Challenge contest page on OC-ESPORTS.
