French Federation of Overclockers Offer Members Discount on Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut

The French Federation of Overclockers, otherwise known as the FFOC, has struck a deal with thermal compound maker Thermal Grizzly that means all its members can now get a discount. FFOC members can acquire a 11.1 gram tube of Thermal Grizzly’s high-end Kryonaut grease for just 12 Euros, a pretty solid discount compared to standard retail prices which are usually well over 20 Euros.

Twelve Euros might sound a bit steep for an ear full of thermal grease, but in fairness Kryonaut paste from Thermal Grizzly is designed specifically with sub-zero overclocking in mind. According to the manufacturer:

“Kryonaut uses a special structure, which halts the drying out process at temperatures of up to 80° Celsius. This structure is also responsible for the nano-aluminum- and zinc-oxide-parts included in the grease to compound optimally, to compensate for unevenness of the component (i.e. the CPU) or the heat sink, thus guaranteeing remarkable heat transfer.”

The French Federation of Overclockers came in to being a few months ago, being announced during the Gamers Assembly HWBOT World Tour event in Poitiers, France. It is basically an organization setup to look after the interests of French overclockers. The FFOC is busy trying to ensure the availability of workshops for aspiring rookies, providing a connection point with the industry when organizing events while also acting as a voice form French overclockers on the International stage. And of course, the FFOC is also helping French overclockers to get good deals on the tools needed to overclock, including high quality thermal paste.
