HWBOT Word Tour 2016 Europe: The Aftermovie

The dust has settled on the European stop of the HWBOT World Tour where the guys took the HWBOT wagon to Gamers Assembly in Poitiers, France, but luckily for you, we now have an aftermovie for you to enjoy which covers all action you may have missed. The event was a roaring success with more than 180 attendees passing through the MSI OC Academy, including many complete newcomers who had literally never tweaked or tuned a PC before. The event also attracted some real OC royalty with Dancop, Bullshooter, Zzolio, Orion24, Wizerty and XtremeAddict vying for a place in the finals where a ticket to the World Champinship Finals in Berlin awaited.

One major success story here is the manner in which the World Tour managed to reach out and engage with Rookies and even people who had never heard of overclocking before. Anyone at the Gamers Assembly event was welcome to attend a brief tutorial where seasoned pros showed you the ropes of simply using XTU to tweak and push your CPU. After acquiring basic these basic overclocking skills, attendees could then spend 30 minutes tweaking a Z170-based system using XTU to see what kind of scores they could reach. By the end of play 160 new overclockers managed to submit a score to the OC-ESPORTS platform. The top four score submissions earned a places in the MSI MOA Europe Amateur contest.
