Most Valuable Submission of Week 18, 2016: 188.8 points by Marc0053 and Strong Island

Last week we received 3458 benchmark results from 856 registered overclockers around the world. The majority of the submissions is coming from Rookie overclockers representing 58% of the active community. They were responsible for 39% of the submissions. We had a peek at the most valuable submissions in a breakdown per league.

The Most Valuable Submission is calculated by the sum of a submissions's World Record, Global, and Hardware points. The Top Hardware Points is taking into account only the Hardware Points of a submission.

The most valuable submission of the week comes from Canadian overclocker Marc0053 who joins the rest of the 742-gang in the XTU 2xCPU category. It's been a good month for Marc0053 as he also qualified for the World Championship by winning the World Series in Canada. For the Elite category we find Worldwide #! Dancop from Germany topping the tables with a Global First Place in the Geekbench3 Multi Core 4xCPU category, outscoring Rauf who took the Global First Place last month. Moving down the ladder we find P5ych0 from Germany as the best of the Apprentice League. We finish up with Digg_de from Germany, DognaOCer from Japan and Creapure from United Kingdom scoring top of their class in various XTU categories.

A special shout out goes to Minicoopers from Germany for scoring gold in the Hardware rankings this week!

The overclocking results submitted during Week 18 generated in total 140 World Record Points, 5119.5 Global Points, and 7163.5 Hardware Points. The distribution per League is as follows: 13% for Elite, 44% for Extreme, 11% for Apprentice, 14% for Enthusiast, 5% for Novice, and 25% for Rookie. I always get left out, last week the top score was loud silence/splave and now this week it's only marc0053 even though I got the score also. Then in the list of division winners I was left off also. I mean it's not a huge deal but it's a little strange.

Belgium Massman says:

Owh. Well, it's certainly not intentional. For the MVS it relates to the database query I use to generate the information. It just picks the highest and doesn't show if there are multiple. For the Division I - what was the issue exactly? Sorry about this Strong Island, you should definitely get all the credit you deserve for your benching results lately!

no it's totally cool, I feel dumb even bringing it up. I just saw last week they listed both the people who had 742.

There was a write up about divisions round 2 starting and they listed round 1 winners and left me off.

So when I saw this I thought maybe someone didnt like me, but Im not that important, haha.

Thanks for the edit, you do a great job with the write ups. I'm sure its not easy with so many overclockers.

Most of the write-ups are actually done by sdougal (credit where credit is due) :D
