Dancop Wins Pro OC Championship 2016 Round 1

The curtain has not long come down on the first round of this year’s Pro OC Championship, the pinnacle of Extreme Overclocking on the OC-ESPORTS platform. It comes as absolutely no surprise to find current World No.1 Dancop at the top of the table on 45 points, cementing his reputation as the best active overclocker of the current crop. In second place we have the legendary Splave on 40 points, while third place goes to Rauf with 33 points. Let’s have a closer look at how Round 1 panned out.

This year HWBOT has also introduced a new Pro OC 2016 cooperative platform, a way to promote and support the overclocking eco-system with five extreme overclockers creating paid content based on their experiences during the contest. The Pro OC partners in Round 1 of the Pro OC Championship are Lucky_n00b (Indonesia), Splave (USA), Drweez (South Africa), Xtreme Addict (Poland) and FirekillerGR/Phil (Greece).

In terms of prizes the top three of the Pro OC Championship Round 1 will each receive cash prizes from contest sponsor HyperX. First place wins $400, second place wins $200 and third place wins $100. Note: Pro OC partners are excluded from winning the cash prizes, being rewarded for their content directly.
