The HWBOT World Tour 2016 is one of the most exciting and ambitious projects launched by HWBOT. Visiting Sao Paulo Brazil, Poitier’s France and for the first time ever, South Africa, this year’s World Tour builds on the success of last year’s efforts, reaching more locations around the world than ever. To bring you closer to the action, today we are pleased to share with you the definitive synopsis of the inaugural visit to Cape Town with an aftermovie produced by the guys at OverClocking-TV.

The trip to Cape Town revolved around the rAge Expo gaming event where the HWBOT team managed to rub shoulders with hundreds of gamers, many of whom took part in the OC Workshop, a major part of the World Tour initiative where total newbies had a chance to learn the basic skills of overclocking, then submit a score to the ‘World Series for Amateurs’ contest.

As well as expanding the OC brood, the event also acted as a showcase for some more serious overclocking with the World Series 2016 for Extreme pulling in the crème de la crème of South African OC talent. OC legends DrWeez and Vivi went head to head in a tense Final round with DrWeez taking the African World Series crown and a ticket to the World Championship Final in Berlin later this year.
