Overclock.net Win Novice Nimble #7 (Again)

Having finished at the top of the table for the last two rounds of the Novice Nimble, Overclock.net have again shown their class with a very dominant display in Round 7 that involves a maximum points haul of 250 points. In second place we have HwReady OC Official Team with 195 points while in third place we have Overclockers.com on 175 points. Let’s have a quick look at the scores and stages in a little more detail.

Hosted on OC-SPORTS, the seventh ever installment of the Novice Nimble once again saw teams of Novice-class overclockers go head-to-head across five unique stages. The Novice Nimble basically uses the same concept as the Country Cup. To move up the leaderboard, you need to improve your team’s best-of-three average for each stage. Crucially, it is up to you and your team members to determine the best strategy, so not only do you need plenty of overclocking skill, you also need a solid team ethic to succeed.

The Novice Nimble #7 ran from January 16th to the 5th of March and was open to all Novice overclockers on HWBOT. Note: A Novice overclocker is defined as an overclocker who has been a member for less than a year on HWBOT. There are currently 15,242 overclockers on HWBOT who currently qualify as Novice League members.

Before we sign off, let’s take a quick look at the final standings at the end of Round #7. Overclock.net won with an utterly dominant display that sees them outdo all oppoistion in every stage of the contest. Superior hardware, teamwork and talent combine here to make them the top Novice OC team at the moment.
