HwBox Hellas O/C Team Win Old School is Best School Round 2

The second Round of the School is Best School contest on OC-ESPORTS came to a resounding close just a day or so ago with HwBox Hellas O/C Team taking the Round 2 crown with solid wins in each of the two stages. In fact, the nation of Greece really laid down a marker for this season’s OSiBS contest with runners-up Hellas Overclocking Team coming in second place thanks to a pair of third place finishes. Let’s take a look at the scoring and submissions in a little more detail.

Once again the Old School is Best School (OSiBS) contest has proven to a be a popular contest for all lovers of old and ancient hardware. A total of fourteen teams went head to head in Round 2 during the month of February, pushing as hard as possible on Intel’s lesser known Socket 423 platform and their first generation of Pentium 4 processors. Despite winning in very convincing style in Round 1, Classicplatforms.com, the OSiBS Champions of 2016, failed to make any real impact here in Round 2 which was thoroughly dominated by the Greek OC contingent.

We’re not quite sure what happened to Classicplatform.com in this round (they eventually finished 9th on the leaderboard), but their less than stellar performance has opened the contest up with a pair of Greek teams laying down the law in here in Round 2. Our congratulations must of course go to HwBox Hellas O/C Team and especially Stelaras and zafiropo, two players who definitely know their way around Intel’s Socket 423.
