k|ngp|n Crushes (his own) 3DMark Fire Strike World Record

K|ngp|n strikes again, busting World Records using his very own custom designed VGA cards and LN2 cooling. This time he has literally out-done himself beating his own previous World Record for 3DMark Fire Strike using a 4x array of GeForce GTX 980 Ti cards pushed to 1,955MHz (2,103MHz memory clock) which is a massive +81.69% beyond standard cooling. The result is a World Record score of 45,044 marks, beating his previous best of 44,599 marks.

The full rig run down includes quad Evga GeForce GTX 980 Ti K|ngp|n Edition cards, cooled by four TEK-9 LN2 cooling pots. The motherboard used was an Evga X99 FTW running an Intel Core i7 5960X clocked at 5,812MHz (+93.73%) thanks to a F1 Dark LN2 CPU Cooling pot. In terms of memory Vince opted for G.Skill Trident Z DDR4.

K|ngp|n is pretty much peerless in 3DMark Fire Strike benching at the moment, technically holding 1st and 2nd best scores for the benchmark. In terms of World Ranking 8Pack is closest to him with 44,583 marks also using 4x GeForce 980 Ti cards.
