The second ever Overclocking Season at OC-ESPORTS came to close just a few weeks ago, so we thought it was an opportune moment to reflect on the year that was 2015 and give a warm round of applause to both the individual and team champions of 2015.

[...] Thus by employing a fair and balanced ranking system, a true and undisputed OC champion would be found each year, a champion that we could say with authority was the best overclocker that year. In the 2015 season, that champion is Xtreme Addict from Poland who finished the year with a total of 760 points. The multi-talented topdog from the UK came second with 708 points, while the mercurial ksateaaa23 of India continues to take the OC world by storm with an incredible season reaping 613 points.

The thing that jumps out immediately is that the three overclockers sitting on the podium actually represent three different OC leagues on HWBOT. Xtreme Addict is a hardened veteran operating at upper echelons of the Elite league. Topdog belongs to the Extreme league while ksateaaa23 has only recently taken up residency in the Enthusiast league. This points to a competitive platform that successfully allows overclockers of all levels to compete head on. [...]
