8 Pack Scores Double 3D World Record and Two Global First Places

8 Pack is without any doubts one of the most influential overclockers of the year. Together with OCUK he regularly comes up with overclocking-minded hardware bundles, he has the most viewed Overclocker in Focus interview, is a regular in the Top-5 of the Overclockers League and has had his physique commented on by the PCMaster Race redditors not once but twice in the past three weeks. Yesterday 8 Pack set new World Records for 3DMark05 and Unigine Heaven Xtreme and grabbed the Global First Place for Cinebench R11.5 and Cinebench R15.

For the four results 8 Pack uses the same base system of a Intel Core i7 6700K at 6.5 GHz (6.4GHz for the Cinebenches), cooled by liquid nitrogen, and paired with the Z170 OC Formula. Also included in the system is a set of 8GB HyperX DDR4-3474 C12 memory and the his self-branded 2000W power supply. For the 3D benchmarks, 8 Pack uses a pair of MSI GeForce GTX 980 Ti Lightning engineering sample graphics cards clocked at 1517/2000 MHz.

In 3DMark05, 8 Pack has a 259 point lead over Hideo from Japan and 413 points over Dancop from Germany in the hall of fame. In Unigine Heaven Xtreme hall of fame, 8 Pack has a 29.42 point lead over Dancop from Germany and 687.89 points over Xtreme Addict from Poland. In Cinebench R11.5 4xCPU, 8 Pack has a 2 point lead over Splave from USA and 11 points over SHIMIZU from Japan in the global ranking. In Cinebench R15 4xCPU, 8 Pack has a 0.04 point lead over Der8auer from Germany and 0.09 points over Splave from USA in the global ranking.
