Bassplayer Calling Upon All Overclockers to Map Your Location!
When we launched HWBOT X at the end of November, it was our hope that overclockers from around the world would find it a useful tool to gather and enjoy overclocking together. Bassplayer immediately jumped to action and looked for fellow Chicago based overclockers to have a small meet up. It turned out that it's not so easy to figure out who is living in your neighborhood!
In a thread on the forum, Bassplayer imported a Zeemaps map of the world. You can add your location to the map and see if there are perhaps people living in your area you could share an overclocking session with. You can choose how detailed you want to be in providing your location information. So far there are about 50 markers on the map, mostly in North America and Europe.
I created a map to help overclockers find each other! I know there have to be other people in or around Chicago that want to meet up and bench and I'm sure there are other people thinking the same thing...
Map your location with your HWBot/forum name and add the forums that you frequent and can be contacted through.
Let's get some awareness and some benching parties! :celebration:

I was "straight edge" when I created my online persona back in the day... no drinking, drugs, etc. I still stay away from drugs but I drink like a fish these days :celebration: I hadn't intended to use the xx when I joined OCN, but regular ol' Bassplayer was taken. The guy never made a post and I asked the tip tops at OCN if they could deactivate his account and pass it over to me but that request was met with a resounding no

Same here - Forgot to do that before subbing the marker. If you could simply delete it I can redo the marker later with the info I needed to put in it myself.

it gave me a url at the end where I can edit it for myself, if you have that you can change or add anything you want.

I have a few weekends in mind... gotta figure out what's going on with my life first as I may be moving back to Louisville within the year. I should be able to post some dates after the weekend of the 8th.

Not aware of anyone from Florida but closest off the top of the my head is Gunslinger who is down South.
I'm 4 hours from Atlanta by car.

I won't be able to make Vegas
Hoping for another summer get-together in the NY/NJ/PA area.
Im on east coast, trying hard to get there, I can buy the plane ticket but I dont know what to do for a place to stay and transportation, might get too expensive.
I wish there was a bench house or something I can pitch in on. Even though it's west coast it feels so close not to go.
We have an AirBNB for the overclockers at the PM Kick-off Party but that one's full.
There should still be some places available. Maybe some other people would also join in? @l0ud_sil3nc3?
