The ROG OC Showdown is an Overclocking contest that spanned the course of 2015 with three rounds and two distinct and separate divisions. An Extreme Series offered Elite overclockers with access to LN2 a chance to go head to head for great prizes. The Formula Series which concluded a few days ago gave amateur players a chance to also win some awesome prizes including ROG Maximus VIII Impact motherboards and an Intel i5 6600k processors. To keep things fair for amateur overclockers, Formula Series submissions needed to include the CPU temperature readings with a restriction imposed that ensured CPUs could not be cooled beyond 20 degrees celsius.

Congrats to all who took part in the ROG OC Showdown Formula Series on OC-ESPORTS. It was great to see 160 overclockers get involved in some pretty serious and competitive amateur overclocking. The winners will be contacted shortly!
