In an article on their website, Overclocking-TV announced the live stream coverage of the HyperX OC Takeover Season III Final. The final takes place in Santa Ana from the HyperX Headquarter. The live stream coverage starts on December 16 with the two 2D benchmark stages and ends continues on December 17 with the final 3D stage.

In total 10 overclockers compete for a total prize purse of USD $15,000. From North America, we have Splave, Fugger, and Gunslinger. Representing Latin America we have Nacho_arroyo and Joe90br. Flying in from the EMEA region, there's Rsaninno and DrWeez. All the way from the Far East, we find Hazzan and Lucky_n00b. The nine contestants are joined by last year's champion Xtreme Addict.
