Dancop Sets New XTU World Record with Core i7 5960X at 5929 MHz and ASUS Rampage V Extreme

New World Record! The German Number One of the Overclockers League has re-established himself as one of the main figures in contemporary overclocking by breaking the XTU World Record. With a score of 3111 marks, Dancop scores 14 points higher than Dinos22 who was the record holder since June 5th, 2015.

For the World Record, Dancop uses a retail Core i7 5960X processor clocked at 5929 MHz and cooled with liquid nitrogen. The motherboard used is the ASUS Rampage V Extreme and is combined with HyperX Predator DDR4-3300C16 memory. The HyperX memory kit is a special bin that was put into the Predator packaging for the World Tour Asia last June, in case anyone was wondering. The memory is clocked at DDR4-3160 C11 for the World Record.

Dancop is the fifth person to blast past 3000 points in XTU. He joins the list of Dinos22, Wizerty, BenchBros, and OC_Windforce. You can find the XTU Hall of Fame here and an overview of the XTU World Record History here.
