Exactly this, if they want you to use their product for a competition at least make it available to buy...

Are they shipping from the US?
Only the card would be around 1200€ for me incl. shipping and import tax. Adding another 300€ for LN2. Puh. No.

Netherlands rsnubje says:

From their website: "GALAX Graphics cards only, not limited to LN2"
That doesn't mean a 980 Ti LN2 specificly. Can also be an epowered one :P But yea, LN2 edition is probably best.

South Africa DrWeez says:

if its the same as last year third place does not cover the cost of the card 0.0 still taking part BTW :)

United States xxbassplayerxx says:

Any improvements in the GOC version over the original LN2 version? Perhaps Samsung and binned?

3rd place, who cares hahaa :D

I will join qualification. It will probably be more and more difficult for me to "move" for international contest, so I want to try galax contest at least one time.

Yes it's expensive, but MOA was also expensive -> MB + VGA, same for asus contest.
For galax at least you don't need highly bin cpu ( save money) you can use any MB (save money). At the end, IF you don't kill your card, and you success in qualification It maybe worth it.
And also have a good VGA to make some point on hwbot.

Brazil Rbuass says:

Wizerty (+1) ... further since there are no more MOA, ... no GOOC ... and even, some ASUS events are not Global (never includded South America), ... is a very nice option.... and even, great cards.

Poland Xtreme Addict says:

AOOC is dead too
