Triple Global First Place from USA: K|ngp|n (2) and Splave.ROM (1)

K|ngp|n and Splave.ROM, two overclockers from the United States of America, have set a triplet of Global First Place results. K|ngp|n took back his Fire Strike Extreme 1xGPU title and increased the level of difficulty for the Fire Strike 1xGPU top spot. Splave.ROM uploaded a new XTU 4xCPU best after his score was beaten by French overclocker Orion24 earlier in the day.

K|ngp|n uses his very own GeForce GTX 980 Ti K|ngp|n Edition graphics card clocked at 2.1 GHz GPU frequency and 2.1 GHz memory frequency. Combined with a Core i7 5960X at 5700+ MHz, he achieved 13612 marks in 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme and 26455 marks in 3DMark Fire Strike. He is now respectively 158 and 780 points in the lead over second places Steponz and Xtreme Addict.

Splave.ROM is using the new Intel Skylake architecture in the form of a Core i7 6700K to achieve his Global First Place. Clocked at 5900 MHz, he obtained a score of 1965 points. That is 21 points higher than L0ud_sil3nc3 and 55 points better than his previous top. The most commented aspect of the result is the DDR4-3738 C15 memory used for this score.
