As the Skylake processors and motherboards are appearing in the retail channels, in Europe faster than in North America apparently, the need for overclocking tools and easy-to-access motherboards BIOSes increases. As we do for each of the relevant platforms, in the dedicated Skylake Z170 sub-forum you will find a thread containing statistics and downloads for the Z170 platform. Today we've updated the BIOSes and overclocking tools.

Our hardware database currently lists 79 Z170 motherboards from 8 manufacturers: ASRock, ASUS, Biostar, Colorful, ECS Elitegroup, EVGA, GIGABYTE, and MSI. For each of the motherboard vendors we've updated the forum thread with downloads to all the BIOSes currently available for download at the respective official website or as shared by members of the community (eg: Stasio and Coolice). The downloads are available from our Amazon Cloud Storage, so download should be up always. At the moment of writing there are 119 BIOSes available for download.

In addition to the BIOSes, we have also uploaded the various overclocking tools you'll need to get your setup up and running beyond factory settings. We've uploaded the following list of overclocking tools, broken down per vendor:

ASRock: Formula Drive, Rapid OC, and Timing Configurator. ASUS: TurboV Core, ROG Connect Plus, MemTweakIT, and tools for XP compatibility. Biostar: Touch OC, and TOverclocker. GIGABYTE: App Center, EasyTune, and Intel Extreme Tuning Utility. Intel: MEI and Chipset Driver. MSI: Command Center and Intel Extreme Tuning Utility.
