Combining the statistics at HWBOT and OC-ESPORTS, there are three major overclocker leaderboards. First of all, there's the Official World Overclocking Ranking Season 2015 which is based on the activity in all overclocking competitions hosted at OC-ESPORTS. You can find out more about the specific scoring algoritm here. Secondly, there's the HWBOT Overclocker League which is based on the sum of your 15 most valuable global and 20 most valuable hardware scores submitted to your HWBOT profile. Lastly, there's also the less well known HWBOT Hardware Masters which is based on the total sum of all hardware points you gather at HWBOT.
Last weekend we had a look at the leaderboards and updated it for today's newsflash. At the top of the leaderboards we find Topdog from the United Kingdom, Dancop from Germany, and Knopflerbruce from Norway. Each of the leaderboards are characterized by requiring different overclocking skills. In the OC-ESPORTS World Ranking, for example, you need to be very active in the various online and offline overclocking competitions, whereas the HWBOT Overclockers League is mostly based on being strong with latest generation equipment. The Hardware Masters are all about knowledge on the widest variety of hardware imaginable.
Congratulations to everyone who made it in the top-15 of the respective leaderboards! Feel free to let us know if you want to see more frequent updates on the leaderboards or if you have any other questions!
