The OC-ESPORTS Official World Overclocking Ranking is based on the performance of an overclocker in the past twelve months. Points are accumulated by participating in the various competitions that run throughout the year. The higher you rank in said competitions, the higher your overall score will be at the end of the year. Click here for detailed information regarding the scoring algorithm. Even though the first official season is 2015, we had a look at what the ranking would be if we apply the same algorithm to the 2014 season.

There is less than 100 points between the top four contestants, but there always has to be one who has the most. That guy happens to go by the name of Splave.ROM, from XtremeSystems, with a total of 606 points. He accumulated the points by dominating several of the qualifiers and taking first place at the G.SKILL OC World Cup 2014 Final which earned him a whopping 250 points.

South African overclocker Vivi followed closely in second place with a total of 580 points. His biggest win during the year of 2014 was placing 1st in MSI MOA 2014 Classic Battle which earned him 250 points. He also took 2nd in the HyperX OC Takeover (HOT) Final to add 195 points to his total.

Xtreme Addict from team PURE finished in third place with a grand total of 542 points which he earned from a number of competitions. His biggest point accumulation came from winning the HyperX OC Takeover (HOT) Final, which gave him the maximum of 250 points for that event.

The runner up in the 2014 season was 8 Pack who scored 539 points, just 3 points shy of taking 3rd from Xtreme Addict. Whilst he did manage to grab a few 1st and 2nd place results, they weren’t enough to secure him into the top three, although it was incredibly close.
